We are delighted to have used Sisalwool – the local, ethical, sustainable insulation for the first time in one of our projects. It has recently been installed into the internal partitions of our new build house in Glenelg. Sisalwool is based near Edinburgh and make insulation from recycled coffee sacks (which are made from the African crop sisal and imported into Scotland full of coffee beans) and offcuts from the Harris Tweed industry. We are hoping to use more Sisalwool in our future work.
